Who we are . . .
In our continuous journey to enhance the lives of those living with dementia, we recognized the need to go beyond just providing therapy dolls. This realization led to the creation of Dementia Engagement Strategies (DES), a dedicated training partner born from the successful and unique nonprofit, The Grand Baby Project.
DES is committed to elevating dementia care through specialized engagement and enrichment training offerings, including the only Dementia Doll Therapy Certification available in the USA.
DES was established on the understanding that delivering dementia therapy dolls, while impactful, was just the beginning. Caregivers, whether in senior care communities or at home, require comprehensive education to maximize the benefits of Dementia Doll Therapy and other non-pharmacological interventions.
Our curriculum is designed to impart real-world techniques that can be immediately applied, ensuring tangible results in the care and support of individuals with dementia. Our offerings are not limited to just those in the senior care industry. Whether you are a professional caregiver or caring for a loved one at home, DES provides both virtual and in-person training options. These alternatives offer a unique perspective and approach to dementia care, unlike anything else available in the field today. Our goal is to empower caregivers with the knowledge and skills needed to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by dementia.
